There’s an idea out there that the bigger the changes, the bigger the results. That couldn’t be further from the truth. As I’ve shared my wellness journey with you over the last 12 years, I’ve come to learn that small, daily rituals are often the most life-changing.
My daily routines allow me to show up for myself, my relationships and my business feeling calm and energised without the overwhelm.
I encourage you to create your own simple daily routine. I’ve put mine below for inspiration! The most important thing is finding the daily rituals and habits that allow you to truly feel your best, and prioritising them no matter what.

My morning routine:
- Deep belly breathing and affirmations. As soon as I wake up, I spend a few minutes taking deep belly breaths. This helps me connect with my breath and feel centred. I also love to repeat positive affirmations. Saying, ‘I love myself just as I am’ and ‘I’m grateful for the abundance in my life’ puts me in a positive headspace and connects me with a deep sense of gratitude that I carry with me throughout the day.
- Prioritise movement, with kindness. I love to start my day with a 30 minute workout from the JSHealth App. It’s so important to get your body moving and I love the rush of endorphins that exercise gives me. I like to listen to my body and exercise according to my mood. If I need something more grounding, I’ll go for a walk or do some yoga. If I want to sweat it out, I’ll do some weight training.
- Pamper with a skincare routine. I believe taking care of our skin—the body’s largest organ—is a real act of self-love. I’m a big believer that an effective skincare routine doesn’t need to be complicated. I personally follow the JSHealth Vitamin’s 4-Step Skincare System and use a gua sha beauty tool to support product absorption and lymphatic drainage. My skin has honestly never been better!
- Enjoy a balanced, protein-rich meal. I swear by a nourishing and satiating breakfast that contains protein, fibre and healthful fats to naturally support energy levels. I’ll fuel my body with a JSHealth Protein Smoothie most days, or another protein-rich, simple meal like our Overnight Protein Oats.
- Enjoy a coffee, the JSHealth way. After breakfast, I enjoy my coffee, which I truly savour. Coffee is part of a balanced life when enjoyed mindfully, so if you love coffee too, be sure to enjoy a maximum of 1-2 coffees before midday to support sustained energy and cortisol levels.
My evening routine:
- Phone on airplane mode. My ritual begins with a simple act—switching my phone to airplane mode. This intentional disconnection from the digital chaos allows me to connect more deeply with myself, carving out a sacred space for quiet reflection.
- One pan dinner. After a busy work day, I opt for simple, easy meals. A one-pan dinner is easy, nourishing and can be a true act of self-care. I always include protein in my dinner to regulate blood sugar levels and prevent any sudden drops during the night that could disrupt sleep quality. Try our One-Pan Honey Mustard Salmon or other one-pan wonders from the JSHealth App for a delicious and stress-free dinner!
- Night walk under the stars. Post-dinner, I love to go for a night walk under the starry sky, technology free. The cosmos brings me a profound sense of peace, grounding me in the beauty of the present moment and signalling my mind and body that it is almost time for bed.
- Soothing magnesium. My favourite nighttime brew is magnesium! Look for a high-quality, triple form blend to help quieten my mind and prepare your body and nervous system for restful sleep. I sip this in bed or sometimes, whilst I’m in an Epsom salt bath = ultimate relaxation!
- Legs up the wall. Next comes a restorative yoga pose: legs up the wall. This gentle inversion soothes my nervous system, dissolving the day’s stress and inviting calm. I practice deep belly breathing for 5 minutes in this pose to prepare for restorative sleep.
- Gratitude practice. Finally, this simple act cultivates a positive mindset and nurtures a soul-nourished heart. Before drifting off to sleep, I like to reflect on three things I’m grateful for from the day. It can be as small as a kind gesture or a delicious meal, or something bigger like an accomplishment or a meaningful conversation.
