At least three people have died and another three are missing after two sightseeing seaplanes collided in mid air in southeast Alaska.
Ten other people were injured, one critically, and have been taken to hospital.
The accident happened near the town of Ketchikan on Monday afternoon.
The two planes, a de Havilland Otter DHC-3 and a de Havilland DHC-2 Beaver operated by local company Taquan Air, were carrying passengers from the cruise ship Royal Princess on sightseeing flights.
There were 10 passengers and pilot on one aircraft, four sightseers and a pilot on the other.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Allen Kenitzer said the cause of the crash is not yet known.
The Royal Princess had left Vancouver on 11 May and was due to arrive at Whittier in Alaska on 18 May.
