BERLIN (Reuters) – German carmakers Daimler (DAIGn.DE) and Volkswagen (VOWG_p.DE) are prepared to fully cover the costs of diesel (gasoil) hardware retrofits, which would come in at 3,000 euros ($3,427.20) per vehicle, manager magazin website reported on Thursday.
It said BMW (BMWG.DE) was still not prepared to take part in the diesel (gasoil) hardware retrofit scheme.
